Modular Typeface
Matrix Typeface
A type based project inspired by London’s National Theatre. With this type- face I aimed to capture the aesthetic of the building while maintaining legibility, with the idea that it could become part of a brand identity for the theatre.
I experimented with different possible shapes, eventually settling on the idea of working with negative space. I was cautious to keep the letters representative of the brutalist style of the building.
